Fabien Giraud & Raphaël Siboni
Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni were born respectively in 1980 and in 1981. Their work echoes the theory of physics - "nothing is created, nothing is lost, everything is transformed" - which opens the possibility of the infinite transformation of matter. In the work they will present in the Tuileries Gardens, an entire fireworks display will be ignited simultaneously: A fifteen-minute spectacle contracted into a single 30 second shot in which multi-coloured motifs fuse together to form a blinding flash. With nothing to perceive but a swift visual stimulus and a single detonation, this is the degré zero of "spectacle", its most reductive form.
