Etienne Bossut
Etienne Bossut, born in 1946 in France, fabricates sculptural moulds of everyday objects such as cans, boots, skis, cars and garden furniture, thus questioning the mass-produced objects of industrial society and exploring the multiple aspects of material and immaterial reality. "For the Cows" (Pour les vaches) is an image of the bathtubs often scattered throughout the countryside to provide drinking water for cows. But perhaps cows also take baths ....?
