Dominique Blais

Born in 1974, Dominique Blais lives in Paris. His work includes sound and light installations which use combinations of the visible/invisible and audible/inaudible to influence the physical and sensory perceptions of viewers. Here, a modified BMX presented in an urban environment poses the question of its functionality. Its altered scale perturbs and fascinates. The work is a reference to "Drumkit" (1999) by Christian Marclay.
