Dewar & Gicquel

Daniel Dewar, born in 1976 in England, lives and works in Nantes. Gregory Gicquel, born in 1975 in Saint Brieuc, lives and works in Paris. Sébastien Planas describes their work as « an explosive concentration of multiple historical allusions, real or phantasmagorical, spanning from prehistory to an imaginary tomorrow, from a composite past to a complex future". "Mason Massacre" represents a Ferrari Testarossa ossified in marble: a luxury fossil or a vestige of our consumer society?
