Alexandre Perigot
Born in Paris in 1959, Alexandre Perigot lives and works between Paris and Bastia. Using video, installation, photography, music and dance, Alexandre Perigot reveals the impact of the "société du spectacle", proposing a "disillusion instead of an illusion" by uncovering what is behind the décor. Fabricated with metal scaffolding, the work he presents in the Tuileries gardens reproduces - in skeleton form - the famous homestead of Elvis Presley in Memphis.
On Saturday October 24th at 3.00pm, a performance by Sylvain Quimène, the 2009 world champion of air guitar will be staged in the work.
